Stanley, Please review the first amendment indeed. Tomas has every RIGHT to ask Joe to not comment. He even said please. He is in no way restrictiing his rights. He has no control over the blog, he is not flagging his comments, etc. He is making a request - I guess you folks only reserve these rights for those you agree with?

How about installing sidewalks where there are none? Such as much of West Main Road? We also need sidewalks on sections of East Main Road...and Boyd's Lane up to Bristol Ferry Rd., and Anthony Rd.. It would also be good for the town to invest more in keeping up our public property. Has anyone been to Island Park beach lately? All the money put into fixing up the sidewalks, and adding those nice street lamps and benches, and it's FILTHY! There's seagull guano and sand all over the sidewalks; can't we clean the sidewalks and beach? And please don't take this as a knock on our fine town workers; it's a matter of the council allocating the funds and resources to get it done. Portsmouth can use some improvement, but overall it's a great place to live, and we should thank God for being fortunate enough to reside in one of our state's best towns.
