The latest Portsmouth this Week TV show, completed on Friday, featured interviews with the Portsmouth Registrar of Voters Madeleine Pencak and Town Emergency Management Agency Director John King. Topics discussed included Portsmouth's voter turnout in recent elections, a preview of the timelines for upcoming elections, including the general election this November, and instructions on how to register to vote.
EMA Director John King discussed the organization of Portsmouth's emergency management team and his plans for better public communications during storms and other emergency events, including the need for a "reverse 911" type of resident notiification system.
