An engineer from Seattle ,Washington was in Portsmouth during August building a written report about the status of the high school wind turbine. It has been several weeks since the review. At a recent Town Council meeting it was stated that the engineer had been recommended by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory .The NREL is the United States' primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency. The town has given all the records of the wind turbine to the out of state engineer. The written report should be made public as soon as it becomes available.
