The weekly edition of Portsmouth this Week, "The Voice of the Portsmouth Town Hall" was taped today and featured interviews with acting Fire Chief, Mike Cranson, and Town Administrator, John Klimm. Highlights included discussions of the organization of the Portsmouth Fire Department and the professional qualifications and training needed by all Portsmouth Firefighters to do the job. Chief Cranson also discussed the issues of legal and illegal fireworks, the purpose and locations of the Fire Department's three boats (two of which were involved in responding to the Sandy Point Beach sail training incident a few days ago) and the activities of the two EMT emergency vehicles, among other topics.
