Portsmouth 375th Steering Committee Donates $1000 to Louis Escobar 4th of July Fireworks Fund

Portsmouth 375th Committee Supports Escobar 4th of July Fireworks Display

The Portsmouth 375th anniversary steering committee has donated $1000 from funds that it has generated through events and memorabilia sales to support and expand Louis Escobar's 4th of July Fireworks display. These local fireworks have been put on by local dairy Farmer Louis Escobar, with some assistance from local sponsors such as Clement's Market, for over 25 years. This year the fireworks display will be expanded in honor of Portsmouth 375th anniversary celebration.

In addition to their donation, the 375th Committee has set up specially decorated milkcans at the Portsmouth Free Library and DeCastro's Farm Stand for public donations. Thr purpose of these cans and the one outside the Escobar home on Middle Road, is to give the public an opportunity to show some support to Louis for continuing this community tradition. Please give freely to help make the 375th anniversary fireworks at Escobar's Farm truly special.
