Police Chief Interviewed on "Portsmouth this Week"

Portsmouth Police Chief Lance Hebert was the guest on this week's edition of "Portsmouth this Week - the "voice of Portsmouth Town Hall". In an interview with Jeff Richard, Chief Hebert discussed the manning levels and operations of his department and some of the major traffic-related problems caused in large part by the ever-increasing number of vehicles using East and West Main Roads. Both roads are too narrow to accomodate such high volumes of traffic and would be very difficult to widen, according to the Chief. Also on the show was Town Administrator John Klimm, who summarized the status of some of the major issues in town, including the wind turbine and the Glen Farm Conservation easement proposal.
