Louis Escobar’s 4th of July Fireworks for the 375th: A Portsmouth Tradition

Show Your Support for Louis Escobar's 4th of July Fireworks for Portsmouth's 375th Anniversary

Louis Escobar has been conducting a Fireworks show at his farm property in Portsmouth on the 4th of July for over 25 years. This year he is celebrating our 375th anniversary year by adding even more fireworks to his traditional display. Most of the funding for these fireworks comes from local sponsors, such as Clement’s Market and from Louis himself. This year, the 375th Steering Committee will be seeking public donations to augment the fireworks fund using specially marked milk cans located at Louis’ home and the Portsmouth Free Library. A third milk can will be moved around to different sites, including some of our 375th events taking place this month. We hope to show Louis that our entire community supports what he is doing for our town.  Any funds contributed to these cans will go directly to Louis Escobar to help pay his fireworks bill. Let’s all get out and support this great Portsmouth tradition and show Louis Escobar that his personal efforts for our community are appreciated.
