Portsmouth firefighters are on scene at Melville Elementary School, where a gas leak occurred in the courtyard Tuesday morning.
The leak was reported around 10 a.m. at Melville Elementary School, located on West Main Road near Stringham Road.
Police and fire crews are on scene. No children were inside at the time. School is out for the summer.
