A Walk and Talk at The glen with Preserve Portsmouth. Meet at 9:30 am the Brown House on Linden Lane, Glen Farm. Ted Clement, Executive Director of the Aquidneck Island Land Trust, will be speaking about the Land Trust's proposal to conserve and enhance the Glen. Learn about the proposal directly. Local historian Jim Garman will help understand the incredible history of the Glen and why it is important to preserve it.

More About Glen Farm
Located off East Main Road, this 120-acre public park abuts Glen Park. Glen Farm is divided into the following six areas: the Gardner Seveney Sports Complex, which is reserved for Portsmouth youth recreation; the Special Events Field, which may be leased for special events; the Brown House; the polo field, which is home to the Newport International Polo Series; and the utility field.
The sixth area of Glen Farm is an equestrian center, which is leased by the town to Ted Torrey, principal of Torrey Equine.
The northwest corner of the polo field also connects with the Sakonnet Greenway Trail.
