Smart shoppers looking for some unique "just right" holiday gift ideas are finding them in a most unusual place: Rhode Island PBS studios. 

One-of-a-kind and limited quantity items are available at the Rhode Island PBS Holiday Sale held at 50 Park Lane in Providence on the Cranston line. The studio will be open on November 16 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. All items start at 50% off their original retail price, with deeper discounts taken on many items. Daily deals and discount bins are also set up in the studio. 

DVDs, CDs, books, and novelties from popular PBS series and specials include Wayne Dyer, Suze Orman, Rick Steves, and Loretta Laroche. Nostalgic musical anthologies from 1940s crooners through the '70s, and contemporary performers such as Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli, are among the artists available.

Speaking of artists, framed original art and prints by local artists decorate the walls. There are also unique hand-crafted jewelry and hand painted bookends and other decorator accents.
