Aquidneck Island is home to many farms and several weekly farmers' markets offer an abundance of locally grown, super-fresh produce, meat, cheese, and eggs.  Customers walk away with more than an armful of daily fresh food--they relish interactions and exchanges with the people who produced it.  Now that's hard to find in any grocery store!

Missed the weekly markets? Simmon's Farm in Middletown opens their farm stand every Sunday from noon to 5pm.  Bring the kids, because their petting zoo is open on Sundays, too!
