The Town Howlers Square Dance Club of Portsmouth, RI is offering a Free Introduction to Modern Square Dancing All ages are welcome and no dancing experience is necessary. Square dancing is easy to learn and is taught in a very informal and fun atmosphere by Jim Schell, a nationally recognized square dance caller. Couples, teens, singles and families are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. The Town Howlers, the oldest square dance club in New England, are in their 61st year of dancing.

More About Portsmouth Multi Purpose Senior Center
Located in the Anne Hutchinson building, the Portsmouth Multi Purpose Senior Center is not your typical senior center. It acts as a community gathering place where older residents of Newport County may recieve support and information about services, as well as become involved in senior activities. The center also features a thrift store, which sells clothing and domestic items.
