DESCRIPTION:In his continuing effort to address the fiscal challenges of 
 Rhode Island&rsquo\;s cities and towns\, Governor Chafee\, in conjunctio
 n with the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC) and mun
 icipal leaders\, will host a community forum to hear from local small bu
 sinesses and discuss ways to help them succeed\, grow the economy\, and 
 create jobs for Rhode Islanders.\nForum discussions will review state pr
 ograms and initiatives developed for: a) providing greater access to fin
 ancing and credit for small businesses\; b) making it easier to do busin
 ess by creating clear\, predictable and reliable regulatory and permitti
 ng processes\; c) revitalizing urban communities and business\; and d) e
 nergy efficiency programs to help businesses operate more cost effective
 ly.\nAll area businesses are invited to attend! Representatives from the
  Governor&rsquo\;s Office\, RIEDC\, municipalities\, SBA\, DLT\, SBDC an
 d the OSBDA will be on-hand to answer questions or schedule follow-up on
 e-on-one appointments.
