Almost all the home heating oil used in Newport County is bought off the island and trucked in.
Those trucks will now be paying a toll to pickup and deliver, so Newport county will be paying extra's fees, no one else in the state, not even Jamestown. Most of theirs comes from south county.

If the company is making money its going no where....these are the dumbest claims I have ever seen and the oil ect already costs more here than in Warwick etc.
Stop the wining and pay your fair share, use it and pay or go around for free, where were you people when the toll doubled on the Pell Bridge ? Oh yeah you don't use that one you used the one we all paid for.......now you have to pay for it.....work for a better rate for all vehicles registered in Newport County, trucks of all sizes and cars pay $.40 per trip and the rest of the rates stat as proposed
