TOLL FORUMS

Hi Guys:

The DOT plans on visiting Portsmouth High School, and Tiverton High, December 3rd, and 4th..They want to know what impact it will have on the neighboring towns.

SO, please if anyone has reasons why it will impact their business, life, please come and share with the DOT...STOP ( Stop Toll Opposition Platform) will be in full force trying to get people to come to the 2 meetings. The DOT, who reports back to the Governor, needs to know....Please pass this along, and if someone can't go because of no ride, please let me know... Portsmouth High December 3rd, at 7P. Tiverton High December 4th, at 7P

To all users of the Sakonnet River Bridge: this is a chance to be heard. This is a chance to tell officials how a proposed toll would affect you. Business owners have a chance to say how it will affect your vendors, customers, suppliers, employees and top line revenue. Join us at PHS on Dec 3rd at 7 pm and THS on Dec 4th at 7 pm.

Hand written letters are the best way to be heard by the Federal Highway Administration FHA. The letters collected at this meeting will be forwarded to the FHA. and read when they meet to consider the proposed toll . We need to work together to defeat this Oppressive tax on the East Bay. Put pen to paper today and tell them how this toll will adversely effect your life.

STOP THE TOLL. Tell DOT why the toll is a bad idea.

I believe that even after these meeting are held that more should be held AFTER the DOT comes out with its economic impact study, The public should be fully informed all ever section of the study , why and how it was done and by whom, what questions were asked and WHAT wasn't asked, Also with the THOUSANDS of people from Middletown and Newport(mostly Middletown) why Middletown is not being asked to hold a meeting,
