If you've noticed the beautiful Christmas wreaths and other greenery decorating the Town Hall, Veteran's Memorial and other Town buildings, thank the Portsmouth Garden Club, whose members spent several days assembling and hanging these great holiday decorations. Portsmouth has many volunteers supporting the town but the Garden Club members are the unsung heroes who maintain our public gardens and other public areas with little or no recognition of their year-round efforts. They all deserve our thanks and appreciation for all that they do, so please say something nice to these hardworking volunteers from your neighborhoods and express your thanks for all their hard work in beautifying our town.
