Check out this video of Portsmouth's First 375th event, the "Polar Dive for 375" on New Years Day. Produced by award-winning viedographer Rich Talipsky and narrated by Gary Gump, this video captures the fun and excitement of a large crowd of otherwise sane people plunging into the frigid Sakonnett River in 30 degree temperatures with a 15 knot wind. Man, was it cold!
Were you at the Polar Dive? If so, you are probably in this video, which did a great job of showing the crowd of participants and spectators before and after the "plunge" and at the Beach House afterwards. Did you go into the water? What did you think of Portsmouth 375th First event? Comments invited.

This was a lot of fun and a great way to start our celebration of Portsmouth's 375th anniversary. There are great events scheduled across the whole year, check it out at www.portsmouthri375.com
