Join your friends and neighbors at this year's "Tasting in Portsmouth" held at the Portsmouth Free Library on Friday, 19 October, from 7-9 PM. This is always a fun event and as this is an election year, you will get a chance to meet and greet many of our local political figures, members of the Library Board, and other town notables. Food and drink from local purveyors and sponsors will be available to sample, but this is also a major social event here in Portsmouth. Several members of the Portsmouth 375th Anniversary Steering Committee will be on hand to answer questions or listen to your recommendations. An auction will start at 8:30 PM to include a wide variety of offerings and I can say from experience that you can really get some good deals here.

This annual fundraising event supports the many useful programs and services our great library provides to all Portsmouth residents. Entry fees are $20 for Library Association members and $25 for non-members. Come out and support your public library - I hope to see you there.
