Where Do You Go for a Staycation in Town?
Portsmouth Patch needs your help with this week's Readers' Choice poll.
Siobhan Bogosian digs a hole with daughter, Sydney, in the early evening hours after a day of work. "My husband and I like to come here with Sydney at this time, we call it our 'after work' beach. On Fridays, we come here to picnic with other families from Sydney's day care center. We order pizzas, which they will deliver to the beach, and just relax."

Next week's Readers' Choice poll will determine where is the best place to have a "staycation," a vacation in town, and I need your help!

See this great scene...it has lifeguards. Thanks to our new budget, this will be lacking for some time. and yes, you pay for this lack of service if you purchase a dump sticker.

I like to walk along the water at the end of McCorrie Ln and there's no beach fee!

There's also no fee for walking (yet) nor walking on any beach. However, if you should walk on Sandy Point beach and find yourself in harms way, out Town Council members are putting a hold on lifeguards so you will be left without safety measures.
