Where Did The Turkeys Go? [SOUND OFF]
For most of this year, wild turkeys were seen on West Main Road. In recent weeks, they have seen (pardon the pun) to fly the coop.
For the past year, three wild turkeys chased cars, terrorized a Patch editor, stopped traffic and became a popular, local attraction for many on West Main Road near Connor's Funeral Home.
In recent weeks, however, the birds have seemed to (pardon the pun) fly the coop. Where did these turkeys, who have been affectionately named by neighbors as "The Three Amigos," go exactly?
We asked readers on Portsmouth Patch's Facebook page — Where did the wild turkeys on West Main Road go? Here's what they had to say.
Kim Fox Morrow: with Thanksgiving around the corner they are hiding..lol
Geoff Wilson: They left b/c they didnt want to pay tolls.
Dorene Cecelia Henrique: Or already is someones freezer for gobble, gobble day...yikes..
Bon Bon Maple Snuck on the Queen Anne for a vaca. :)
Where do you think the turkeys went? Have you seen them lately? Tell us in the comment section below!
