What's Your Pick for a Town Rock Song?
There's a push to make The Modern Lover's "Roadrunner" the official rock song of Massachusetts. What would be your pick for Portsmouth's official song?
With paeans to Massachusetts, Route 128, the Mass Pike and even Stop n' Shop, The Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner" is a thoroughly local song. But should it be the state's official rock song? Some state legislators think so and are making the push.
State legislators from across Massachusetts are jumping on the "Roadrunner" bandwagon.

" Money for Nothing" , and the checks for free: Dire Straits
In honor of our town unions and the band name is the condition of our town thanks to these Democrats ( union lovers ) running the town now. You can say goodbye to the $3million plus that the Republican school committee accumulated by keeping pressure on the unions and not caving to their demands. Watch these democrats give it all away, then the town song can be " dust in the wind".
