Tuesday: Town Council Meeting; Showers May Continue

Here are five things you should know today in Portsmouth.

 
  1. Showers are possible today with a high of72 degrees.
  2. The Portsmouth Town Council meets at 7 pm; the Housing Authority meets at 6:30pm.
  3. Tomorrow is the kick-off event for the summer reading program at Portsmouth Free Public Library.
  4. This evening from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, you can learn about the design history of Newport's Rough Point. The tour goes back 250 years to when this part of Newport was farmland and traces Newport's development as a premier vacation spot as reflected in this beautiful property.
