  2. The Portsmouth Board of Canvassers meets at 10:30 am to go over voting lists and finalize election plans.
  3. Tonight's concert at Sweet Berry Farm features Big Cat blues, and the special meal for purchase tonight is Louisiana Love Fest: Chicken sausage gumbo, muffaletta sandwich, Creole vegetable slaw, bread pudding with whiskey sauce.
  4. Norman Bird Sanctuary welcomes the musical celebrations of Christopher Kavi Carbone today at 10:30 am.
  5. Portsmouth High School's freshman orientation is Thursday, Aug. 23, starting at 8 am. Portsmouth schools begin class on Aug. 28.
