Tuesday: Bullying Presentation for Parents; School Committee Meets
Here are five things you should know today in Portsmouth.

- Warmer weather continues today. The National Weather Service says there may be showers before 9 a.m., otherwise a partly sunny day with a high near 40.
- The Portsmouth School Committee meets tonight at 6:30 for a closed session, followed by the public portion at 7:30 p.m. (The agenda is attached.)
- There's a special program at 6 p.m. tonight at the Middle School - for parents only - put on by the Portsmouth Parents Group "Bullying: What It Is In 2012, and What We Can Do About It."
- Today, there are story times in the morning and afternoon at the Portsmouth Public Library.
- Author Ann Hood appears at Island Book Store in Middletown this afternoon to answer questions and sign books; she is launching a new children's series, "The Treasure Chest."
