State Police Resume Search for Missing Teenager
The Rhode Island State Police resumed the search for Teddy Oliviera on Sunday, the Newport Buzz reports.
Rhode Island State Police have resumed the search for missing teenager Theodore “Teddy” Oliviera, the Newport Buzz reports.
Police brought specially trained dogs to Newport to search for Oliviera, who was reported missing on Tuesday. Read the full story here.
The 17-year-old has been missing since Monday night, when he was last seen on a dinghy in Newport Harbor.
The U.S. Coast Guard, the Newport Police Department, Newport Fire Department and several other crews from around Rhode Island joined in the search for the missing teenager before it was suspended last Wednesday.
A vigil was held for Oliviera on Wednesday night, which was attended by hundreds of friends, family members and community members.
