Good food, large portions and I loved the outdoor seating! Only downside is that it's a little pricey for what you get (cost $200 for 4 adults and 4 kids) That said, we did not leave hungry and the service was great!

Good food, but the service is SLOW! My husband and I went before we were due at an event and gave ourselves 2 hours. We didn't make it. It took the waitress 20 minutes to come and take our drink order, water and tea, and then another 10 minutes to bring it back. Even after we ordered we waited another 45 minutes. We haven't been back yet.

We found it relatively inconsistent in the quality of food, and found the prices to have gone up significantly between our first visits and our more recent visit... I will say that the most recent visit had significantly better food, and no one yelled at the wait staff right in front of all the customers that last time... but unlike Beth above, our bill for two was well over $100...

ive been several times, love it, i go with my kids, and with my friends, especially on a friday night with live entertainment. andre is great. i also attendended a charity event for 300 bikers ride for charity for kids. the owner donated all the food and the staff and their family donated their time. great specials. try fra diavalo any style. and your not going to get shrimp cocktail like they have..posted photo. great food, great service , great drinks....

I enjoy Scampi every time I am there. The food is always fresh and hot, the staff is very pleasant and fun, couldn't ask for better place to enjoy great food and drinks. I have to agree with Russ, the Fra Diavlo is one of my favorites as well as the lobster mac and cheese. You get your moneys worth with huge portions and I always have to take stuff home. I recommend this place to anyone that enjoys fine dining with fresh delicious food!!

Scampi is definately a hidden treasure out here in Island Park and really enjoy the $15 specials during the week, great size portions and you can't beat the price. I have gone also on the weekends when they have artist performing live music which is a fun time. The atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy, you almost feel like you are at home.

Scampi's is Our Favorite Restaurant in Portsmouth and Definitely a Local Gem but a better name for them would be "View and Food to Die for" :-) My Husband and I have been going to Scampi's just about Every Weekend on "Our Date" For Many Years Now. Scampi's has a Very Homey and Comfortable Atmosphere and you are Treated like Family. Their Location is Gorgeous with Waterfront Views wherever you are seated. We are Looking Forward to Our Weekly "Date" Tomorrow at Scampi's and it will be Extra Special this week with Live Entertainment On Saturdays Now. Oh and did I mention that their Drinks are Amazing :-)

Mike and Michelle have worked very long and hard to make Scampi what it has become!! Food is always good and yes, the shrimp cocktail is HUGE!! Atmosphere is always friendly and warm. Everyone enjoys the $15 specials, I get 2 meals out of it! We love it and would definitely go more often but yes, a bit pricey....

I love Scampi's, there food is great, thanks to chef Jodi, she & her cooking staff makes the food extra special & jus the way I like it! I especially love the crab cake as an appitizer & it's a good size portion they give you!

The food is excellent! And the staff is super friendly and attentive. A young girl working at Scampi made us feel very welcome, like we were going there for years and the rest of the staff was just as kind! I've gone there several times since then and my favorite dish has to be the seafood platter. There is literally enough food for a weeks worth of dinner and it is absolutely delicious!!! The steamers are one of our favorite apps, they are some of the cleanest clams we've ever eaten. The food at scampis is very consistent and the portions are HUGE. Mixed drinks are also deliscious. Bartender Melissa is very knowledgable, friendly, and attentive. If you haven't, try Scampi for a great time!
