Residents Help Nab Theft Suspect
Police arrested Glenn Dufault for the November theft of a charitable collection can from the Mobil Xtra Mart on West Main Road.
Portsmouth Police are crediting the public with helping identify a suspect who allegedly stole a charitable collection can from the Mobil Xtra Mart last November, wpri.com reported.
Police have arrested Glenn Dufault, 42, of Donna Drive, according to a news release, after receiving a tip from wpri viewers, the station reported. Dufault allegedly stole the collection can from the Mobil Xtra Mart on West Main Road. Surveillance video from Nov. 3, 2011 showed a white male taking the can, placing it under his jacket and leaving.
On Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police turned Dufault over to Portsmouth officers. He's charged with larceny under $500. The donation can was for the Jennifer Creed Foundation, which is dedicated to helping families affected by childhood cancer by helping them meet costs not covered by insurance.

That's great. Now we should arrest the owner of the Mobil X-tra mart for his rediculous prices!

Here is an idea for his punishment. have him stand outside of the Xtra-mart with a sign saying, " I robbed a little girls charity fund" See how many times he's punched in the face. That should suffice.
