Rep. Dennis M. Canario (D-Dist. 71, Portsmouth, Little Compton, Tiverton) has been appointed to the House Committee on Judiciary.

The appointment was announced this week by Speaker of the House Gordon D. Fox.

The House Committee on Judiciary considers all bills affecting the penal code, judicial system, ethics, open meetings, access to public records and election laws.

Gov, It's up to the people to keep him informed as to how the legislature is corrupted . Don't just elect and expect him to do all the work . People need to be involved .
