Rep. Dennis M. Canario (D-Dist. 71, Portsmouth, Little Compton, Tiverton) has been appointed to the House Committee on Judiciary.
Rep. Dennis M. Canario (D-Dist. 71, Portsmouth, Little Compton, Tiverton) has been appointed to the House Committee on Judiciary.
The appointment was announced this week by Speaker of the House Gordon D. Fox.
The House Committee on Judiciary considers all bills affecting the penal code, judicial system, ethics, open meetings, access to public records and election laws.
With the appointment to Judiciary, Representative Canario, who is serving his first term in the House of Representatives, will no longer be a member of the House Committee on Small Business. He will continue to serve as a member of the House Committee on Health, Education and Welfare.

It will be difficult for him to be his own person with Fox running the henhouse. O'Neill found that out the hard way.

Gov, It's up to the people to keep him informed as to how the legislature is corrupted . Don't just elect and expect him to do all the work . People need to be involved .
