Ready, Set, Crawl! Babies To Race in 17th Annual Derby

Clements' Marketplace will hold the 17th annual Huggies Baby Derby today.

Clements' Marketplace will hold its 17th annual annual Huggies Baby Derby this Thursday at the market.

The race will "crawl" off at 10 a.m.

The derby is held each year at Clements' Marketplace, where babies compete in a crawling race for the grand prize—a case of Huggies' diapers.

Parents stand at the finish line and encourage their child to crawl by using toys, keys or food. Babies can be disqualified if they stand or walk.

To register, stop by the customer service booth before the race.

To make this really interesting clements should put cheerios and tie it to the side of the train that goes around overhead. Then the kids can race around the store trying to get the cheerios. Yes, this is strange but then so is a baby crawl race. Really - disqualifying a baby for standing or walking!!!
