- The Portsmouth Town Council say goodbye tonight to longtime Town Administrator Robert Driscoll. The council is expected to present Driscoll with a proclamation for his many years of service. However, questions still remain about his successor. Tax Assessor David Dolce is expected to announce whether or not he will step down or take a leave of absence to serve as interim administrator. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
- Do you like to dance? Ballroom dance lessons happen today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the senior center.
- The Viking Bridge Club meets today at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary Church.
- Have you ever visited the Rose Island Lighthouse? How about the one on Prudence Island? Well, you might be interested in this film tonight at 7 p.m. Jane Pickens Theater will present a film about historic lighthouses in Rhode Island. Tickets are $15.
