The fire broke out just before 5 pm on Sunday.

Just before 5 p.m. on Sunday, Bristol Police and fire crews were called to Colt State Park in Bristol for a report of a massive brush fire.

Firefighters battled the brush blaze for more than an hour, which had settled in a dry wooded area in the area of the third parking lot.
