Police Log: Woman Arrested After Vehicle Hits Parked Car
The following is based on reports from the Portsmouth Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Chelsea Lauder, 21, of 102 Tollman Ave., Portsmouth, was arrested on Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. after a motor vehicle crash on Park Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
Police say a vehicle, operated by Lauder, struck a parked car on Park Avenue. When officers arrived, they detected an aroma of alcohol on the driver.
Lauder apparently failed a field sobriety test and, after being transported to police headquarters, failed a chemical test.
She was charged with driving under the influence.
