Police Log: Woman Allegedly Throws Man Into Couch
The following is based on reports from the Portsmouth Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
A Portsmouth woman was arrested on Jan. 20 after police were called to an Attleboro Avenue residence.
Amanda Stuckey, 20, of 161 Black Point Lane, apparently became involved in an argument with a 25-year-old Portsmouth man.
During the argument, she allegedly threw him into a couch and struck him with her fists. She also allegedly attempted to choke him, breaking a lamp during the incident, police said.
Stuckey was arrested and charged with the following: domestic, simple assault, and domestic, vandalism.
A second woman was also arrested at the scene. Meaghan Woolhouse, 22, of Newport, was arrested on a warrant.
A check revealed Woolhouse was wanted on a Second District Court bench warrant for failure to appear.
