Police Log: Tiverton Man Charged With DUI

The following is based on reports from the Portsmouth Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Portsmouth police made the following arrests this past weekend. 

Portsmouth man arrested on warrant

Daniel Darrow, 56, of 114 Foxboro Ave., Portsmouth, was arrested on Sept. 14 at 6 a.m. at his house.

Darrow was wanted on a Second District Court bench warrant for failure to appear at a sentencing. 

Tiverton man charged with DUI

Ryan King, 22, of Tiverton, was arrested on Sept. 16 at 1:30 a.m. after a motor vehicle stop on East Main Road. 

Police were called to East Main Road for a report of an erratic vehicle. Officers say they detected an aroma of alcohol coming from the vehicle. 

The operator, King, was arrested after apparently failing a field sobriety test. He was transported to the police station, where he allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test. 

He was arrested and charged with DUI, as well as refusal to submit to a chemical test.
