Police Log: Portsmouth Woman Arrested on Warrant
The following is based on reports from the Portsmouth Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Portsmouth woman arrested on warrant
Erika Joaquin, 30, of 3239 East Main Road, Apt. B, was arrested on Jan. 6 at 1:45 a.m. at her place of employment.
Joaquin was wanted on a Second District Court warrant for failure to appear at an ability-to-pay hearing.
Portsmouth man arrested on warrant
David Truver, 30, of 86 Norseman Drive, was arrested on Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. after a traffic stop on Hummocks Avenue.
Truver, a passenger in the vehicle, was wanted on a Superior Court warrant for failure to appear at review.
Fall River man arrested for allegedly sending harassing text messages
Scott Deasley, 41, of Fall River, was arrested and charged with making harassing phone calls.
In October, a 37-year-old Portsmouth woman told police Deasley was sending her harassing text messages after she asked him to stop.
Deasley was in Newport District Court on Jan. 3 for another incident. He was taken into custody at court.

The PPD picked up Erika at her place of employment but really meant to arrest her nutty father Kenneth for not going to anger management classes and also for assult.
