Alana Klein, 19, of Hartsdale, NY, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 8, after security at the Roger Williams University dorms apparently smelled marijuana coming from Klein's room. 

Security officers at the Roger Williams University Residences and Conference Center told police they discovered a small, plastic bag containing marijuana inside the student's room. 

Portsmouth police responded to the dorm and arrested Klein. She was charged with possession of marijuana. 

Klein was also wanted on a warrant issued by Bristol police on a previous possession of marijuana charge. 

She was transported to the police station and later turned over to Bristol police.
