Police Log: Man Arrested For Alleged Assault
The following arrest information was supplied by the Portsmouth Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Portsmouth man was arrested Thursday for allegedly assaulting a 20-year-old woman.
Douglas Silvia, 49, of Davey Lane, Portsmouth, was arrested and charged with domestic, simple assault.
Silvia apparently became involved in an argument with a 20-year-old Portsmouth woman at his residence. During the argument, Silvia allegedly struck the woman in the back of the head with his hand.
Silvia was arrested and held overnight at the police station. He was arraigned the next morning in district court.

No she was not a minor but she was a victim of a crime. Why would you need to know who the victim was she did nothing wrong so there was no need to identify her. You dont identify the victims od domestic assualt.
