The following is based on reports from the Portsmouth Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Portsmouth police made the following arrests this weekend.

Three people arrested after allegedly stealing "53 television

Three people were apprehended by police Saturday after allegedly stealing a homeowner's television and vehicle.

Police were called to a Viking Drive residence after 1 a.m. Saturday for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. A TV was also taken from the residence.

At 3 a.m. the same evening, police spotted the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Portuguese American Citizens Club

Three people were inside the vehicle: 51-year-old Wayne Brown and 23-year-old Destiny Gray, both of 3 Scotty Drive, and 47-year-old Sean Walsh of 75 Porter's Lane.

Having known Sean Walsh my entire life, it is obvious to me when i see this that this simply does not sound like him. Knowing about his recent divorce (where he set his ex-wife and kids up in a brand new home and PAID the first 2 years of child support up front...how many guys u know have done that?), loss of his family business and home (first destroyed in a fire after a large renovation, then renovated again). He lost these things primarily due to a series of operations after having worked hard for many years, the economy, and a disease that had affected lobstering in our area...this is not Sean, nor will it ever be, it's just something he is going thru. And if u read this, Sean, you've helped many people out in our community and will probably continue to do so, in time. I also know he was presently living at that address when the incident happened. He drove the truck on a daily basis and was on the insurance, and he bought the tv and many other items for the town-pump he was living with. He did nothing but try and help that woman, and once again, the nice guy gets the shaft! Sean, bro, u still have loyal friends, many of whom will not turn their back on u bases on some "allegations" he patch puts out.

Don't Believe Everything You Hear

It's great that you've known Sean your entire life, but you should probably make sure you have all of your facts straight before posting something like that. The stories you have been told about his divorce, child support, loss of his family business and family home are just that...stories...inaccurate stories. Don't knock the article the Patch wrote because at least that information is accurate. There is no reason why you should be posting anything about his ex or his children. He certainly did NOTset them up in a brand new home. SHE set herself up in a brand new home for her children. As for the child support...pay upfront or get a job. Is there anything else you would like me to clarify for you?

It is what it is

I have lived with Sean and Sean is a good guy, I think Sean is nice and a real good person. I think Sean has made a big mistake, that i forgive him for. But the statement "Christian Friends" made about the person Sean was living with, stating that she was a town pump was a rude and disrespectful comment that i completely disagree with. She is a funny,nice,hard-working, single parent of 4. I would like to know who Christian Friends is.
