Boss Man Burgers may really be the "last man standing" as stated on a sign outside the now-closed Irving gas station on East Main Road, but at least the popular burger shack has a sense of humor.

The Irving gas station and store appears to have mysteriously shut down recently after placing "no gas" signs on the pumps. The reason behind the closing is unknown at this time.

For at least three weeks, the store inside seemed to slowly empty and remove inventory.

At least two convenience store employees denied the gas station was closing when directly asked. One employee stated the store was simply "undergoing renovations."

Today, only Boss Man Burgers remains in operations inside. The rest of the store is empty. Featured above are photos of the mysterious closing.

That's good to know. I know you and the rest of the Giacobbi clan have put a lot of work, money and effort into making that. I hope it all works out for you.

Great spot for custom house - even has a drive thru as well as a Shell gas station (although Irving gas is fine too).

Whew! Glad to hear - hate to see something go unused in this area... so happy someone seems to be moving into the stone building near Flo's (Park & Cottage)... love my IP area and happy to see it thrive.

Does it seem like a restaurant is going in there, Jill? That has been empty for such a long time!

That is sure a testiment to the success of Boss Man Burgers being that it has been able to remain successful despite the lack of other business's in the building.
