Photos: Cleanup is 'Snow' Problem in Portsmouth
Despite gusty winds, some residents braved the outdoors Monday morning to clear cars and shovel driveways.
Freezing temperatures and gusty winds couldn't keep homeowners from clearing driveways and shoveling snow off cars Monday morning.
A few residents of West Main Road braved freezing temperatures and wind gusts (some projected to reach 45 mph) to remove the white stuff that piled up overnight.
"I didn't think it was going to be this bad," said Erik Pacheco as he cleared snow off a lime green Volkswagen Beetle Monday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning, which will continue through Tuesday. Some residents have reported measuring up to 12 inches of snow in their backyards.
