My son has Aspergers and goes to Aquidneck Island Day Camp in Middletown. It is run by Looking Upwards. It is the most reasonable camp around. He gets academics in the morning and fun activities in the afternoons with the structure and supervision he needs. It is a great camp for all ages and ranges of children.

The United Congregational Church Summer Day Camp is open to ALL children. It's an ecumenical camp that runs from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to accommodate working parents. We're in our 16th year and this year is our yth Puppet Camp. This year, old fashioned sock puppets. The kids create their puppets the first week and write, produce, and perform a puppet show the second week. Very popular! We've done marionettes, rod-and-stick puppets, muppet puppets, Cambodian water puppets, shadow puppets, Wayang kulit puppets just to name a few. Both the Aquidneck Island Day Camp in Middletown and the Portsmouth Action for Youth camps sound great. I can't decide. I need a full day camp for the whole summer. I have a 10 and 12 year old.
