I am a big fan of the Portsmouth Shop. The store is small, but intimate. The merchandise is beautifully displayed and the sales representatives are the nicest ever. It is very difficult for me to come out of there empty handed, even when I only plan on browsing!! High quality products and reasonable priced!

I have several relatives with Pandora bracelets and the Portsmouth Shop is the best place to buy them. Since the prices for Pandora are the same everywhere, I like to keep the business local. The women there are so friendly and genuine, and the giftwrapping is beautifully done, no matter how small the item.

Not to give these other businesses short shrift - Ma's helped me with a defective pair of Dansko's that I had purchased over a year earlier. Mr. Goetzinger got right on the phone with Dansko and I left with a new pair of shoes. Pink Pineapple and Stalise have been great supporters of the PHS fashion shows, and the teachers who were adult models had a great time picking out and trying on outfits for the show, right down the smallest accessory. I try to keep my dollars in Portsmouth whenever possible; the Green Grocer has a great sign in their window that shows what happens to a local dollar.

I have shopped at the Portsmouth Shop for years buying children's clothes, Vera Bradley, and Pandora bracelets for my wife. The people that work there are the kindest, most curteous people I have ever encountered at a retail store. The have saved many of Valentines Day's, birthday's etc for me. If I were to buy these items elsewhere I would have buyer's guilt. I love the store and I consider them an asset of Portsmouth.
