Investigation Continues Into Death of Craig Raposa
The Attorney General's Office says the investigation is ongoing.
Nearly two months since the unexpected death of Craig Raposa, authorities say they still can't release further explanation about what led to the Tiverton man's death.
A spokesperson for the Attorney General's Office says the investigation is continuing and cannot comment further on the case.
"It's ongoing," said spokesperson Amy Kempe. "We can't comment on the investigation, which is ongoing...When we make a conclusion, it will be made public."
According to Kempe, a "thorough review" of the case is being conducted.
Raposa, 25, died on Feb. 3 of unknown causes following a struggle with Portsmouth police, in which pepper spray was used.
The incident now remains under the investigation of the Attorney General's Office.
