Fundraiser To Help Cover Funeral Costs for Young Girl

Jayla M. Hudson, 6, died on Aug. 31 from a rare disorder. Volunteers are now working to help the family with medical and funeral costs.

 

Six-year-old Jayla M. Hudson of Warwick died this past August from a very rare disorder, Cockayne Syndrome. Volunteers are now working to raise money to help Hudson's family with medical and funeral costs. 

The VFW, along with both Auxiliaries of Post 5390 in Portsmouth and the American Legion Post 18, will hold a spaghetti fundraiser dinner this Sunday, Sept. 30. 

The dinner will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the VFW in Portsmouth

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. All proceeds will go to help cover medical and funeral expenses.
