Former Rep. Patrick Kennedy Sells Portsmouth House

The former Congressman's nearly $1.3 million property has sold for less than its value, according to town records.

New residents will soon live in a house once belonging to a Kennedy.

Former Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy has sold his 2001-built Portsmouth house, according to town records.

The property sold on Thursday for $1,150,000 to James M. and Sheila M. Powell of Middletown.

Kennedy, who married a New Jersey school teacher in 2011, put the two-story house at 210 Farmlands Drive on the market in January.

The Portsmouth home was assessed at a value of $598,400 in 2011, according to its Vision Appraisal listing. The total property, including the house and land, was valued at $1,292,400 in January.

Another limousine liberal who "never worked a ####### day in his life". Claimed to represent the working people. Because he had a D next his name on a ballot, the mindless RI voters just kept putting him back in.
