While some businesses in Portsmouth have been around for "as long as you can remember", some have closed their doors, either due to poor economic times or simply moving to a new location.

The store Natures! recently closed, according to its owner, due to a proposed plan to place tolls on the new Sakonnet River Bridge

We want to know what businesses you think would thrive in that location. What type of business would you like to inhabit this empty storefront?

How about a business to recall Chafee and the representatives that voted yes for tolls Felag, DiPalma, Ottiano, and Weed? These representatives do not have your best interests at heart and do not deserve to be in the position they are in. Do not vote them back in. Send them all packing with their tails between their legs in November.

Paiva Weed voted for the bill because RIBTA came to her and said "vote for this or the tolls on the Newport Bridge go up" ...that is a fact. Yet. . . all of the Reps voting against it are supporting her. Is Rep. Gallison against her. Nope.
