Fill This Empty Portsmouth Storefront: Ma Goetzinger's Clothing Store
What kind of business do you think should go here?
While some businesses in Portsmouth have been around for "as long as you can remember," some have closed their doors, either due to poor economic times or simply moving to a new location.
Ma Goetzinger's, a clothing store that dressed Portsmouth women for more than 41 years, recently closed its doors after owner Carrol Goetzinger and her husband decided to retire.
Goetzinger says she plans to close the business and decide later what to do with the property she owns.
However, we want to know what businesses you think would thrive in that location.
What type of business would you like to inhabit at this location? Should it remain a house or become another business?

Several small business would be nice. The yarn shop would be great as they are few and far between. People that want to start a small business for additional income. Only problem would be high rent. Keep it to locals.

There is a yarn shop next to Island Books. There is no quilt store on the Island. What do a bunch of small shops have to offer that we don't already have. How abouty something different than that and please no more pizza places. The Island is full of them. Let's think outside of the box.
