While some businesses in Portsmouth have been around for "as long as you can remember," some have closed their doors, either due to poor economic times or simply moving to a new location.
Recently, Irving gas station and convenience store has emptied. The property's owner says a new business plans to move in.
However, we want to know what businesses you think would thrive in that location. What type of business would you like to inhabit this empty store?

Expand Bossman, they are open for lunch and dinner, add a decent real actual independent bakery/coffee shop, not a boring, predictable, cloned chain that is open for breakfast then for late night dessert. They can share the tables and open space.

It’s too bad that the previous mgmt couldn’t have held out until the Cumberland Farms shut down for remodeling. The usual Cumby’s customers might (MIGHT) have switched to the Irving and provided them enough revenue to remain open.

There were cars getting gas....BUT I'm not sure if it's IRVING brand or some other brand.....although the Big sign still says IRVING. There was another smaller sign on the ground in front indicating some kind of "Racing Gasoline" was being offered...Up to 93 Octane.

SO: TAMORI: Does this 100 Octane gas have ETHANOL..? I "drove by" the pumps and saw only Max 93 Octane. Did I miss a separate pump with 100....Just wondering.
