Fill This Empty Portsmouth Storefront: The Groovy Gator
What kind of business do you think should go here?
While some businesses in Portsmouth have been around for "as long as you can remember," some have closed their doors, either due to poor economic times or simply moving to a new location.
The owner of The Groovy Gator, a children's boutique located in the Clock Tower Square plaza, has decided to close its Portsmouth shop. Groovy Gator will still operate out of its Newport location on Thames Street.
However, the Portsmouth location will close its doors on June 1. The store is located in the same plaza as Deborah Winthrop Lingerie and the Pink Pineapple.
We want to know what businesses you think would thrive in that location. What type of business would you like to inhabit this soon-to-be empty storefront?

It is Monday, May 21, 2012 @ 10am And we are starting another week without the wind turbine not working. Today it is shrouded in clouds, but you can still make it out and it's not turning.
The Groovy Gator is the perfect location for a wind turbine repair center!

I think a purveyor of risque ladies undergarments would be a terrific addition to the rest of the upper crust stores. I know it crashed and burned across from Clemments but what the hey.

But it was nice having a buxom woman in a scanty French maid’s outfit waving at you as you drove past. Those were the good old days when we didn’t have broken wind turbines, failing state funded video gamers, and all of our bridges were good-to-go without tolls.
