Fill This Empty Portsmouth Storefront: East Main and Patriots Way
What kind of business do you think should go here?
While some businesses in Portsmouth have been around for "as long as you can remember," some have closed their doors, either due to poor economic times or simply moving to a new location.
It's been years since this empty store on East Main Road and Patriots Way has done business.
We want to know what businesses you think would thrive in that location. What type of business would you like to inhabit this empty storefront?

No establishment would thrive - useless they have $$$$. Buyer beware. Failed septic system. Too costly for start-up. That is why nobody wants it. Owner should donate it to the Town (tax write off) and use the land for PHS parking.

This is going to be a fun game to play on the patch every week as more and more businesses close their doors due to bridge tolls. Everyone can then thank the $4 footlong over the Sakonnet.

I was born and raised in Portsmouth and saw the ribbon cutting on this bridge which has been free to cross since it's completion. Now if the bridge could be equated to a "wall", it makes me sad to see a Berlin Wall go up in my hometown and along with the misery that the tolls will bring with jobs and business lost!

How about a hardware store here, that has everything you could ever need!
